Wiring a room or a whole house isn't just running cable from A to B — every circuit has to be sized correctly for its load and run length under AS/NZS 3000, since a run that's too long on the wrong cable size causes voltage drop that shows up years later as flickering lights or underperforming appliances. We plan circuit layouts before pulling any cable, working out how many power and lighting circuits a space actually needs rather than overloading one circuit to save time, and we run TPS through wall cavities or conduit where cable needs mechanical protection, keeping every run clear of insulation and other services as the standard requires.

Every new circuit is home-run back to the switchboard on its own dedicated breaker and RCD protection, and we label the board clearly so anyone opening it later — including us on a future job — can see exactly what each circuit feeds. We test insulation resistance and polarity on every cable before it’s connected, not after, and issue a compliance certificate covering the work once it’s signed off.
