Adding a TV point isn't just extending the existing antenna feed - every splitter you add loses signal, so on a fringe-reception home adding a third or fourth point without an amplifier can leave you with drop-outs on the original TV that never had a problem before. We check actual signal strength at the new point before finishing, not just after the installation's done.

For a wall-mounted TV, the point needs to land inside the bracket footprint or slightly below it so the cable disappears rather than trailing down the wall, and where the cavity’s usable we run a recessed in-wall power and TV point together so there’s no visible cable at all. Older homes with brick veneer or no accessible cavity get surface-mounted conduit instead, done neatly rather than just left exposed.
